Google give Discount Coupons, LiveWriter gets prais, and Y! Answers launches API
"Google is expanding its local directory business using the same sort of disruptive tactics it has used in other areas: giving away something for which others charge."
That's the first line in NYT Article I read today, it's interesting, how people are getting fuzzed about that Google ( no I actually don't really like them either, but ) shows the world that other Companies charge for earning them money.
Why should they charge Valpak for already giving away money?
You can read the original Article from the link below.
Windows LiveWriter is getting a lot of praise, but same as Techcrunch I have to ask why LiveWriter? it's a blogging tool, and with the popular Windows Word everybody would think of Windows LiveWriter to be the online version of it.
It's a smart move however and they ought to continue this opening up, if Microsoft wants to keep it's monopoly.
Y! Answers launched it's API today, ( same as Facebook ), API is always a smart move, it drives traffic, and let's people work for you that want to work for you.

Technosaurs
This is a watch for Technology Dinosaurs, and recent news on them,
In my opinion Technosaurs are; Yahoo!, Google, AOL , MSN , Ebay, Nytimes, Excite, Lycos, etc.etc.Portals you know, don't mean they're all dead some are still doing real well,
just saying they've been around longer, and i think it's worth keeping an eye on them.Of course they can't afford to move as fast as the small innovative companies can because of their lack of agility, they got to much to loose.Still, some like Google doing an incredible job at pushing Technology forward.
Some like AOL are well, AOL.
