First I guess we need to go through the basics,

I.E. Numbers, attention there is tones to all these, but for beginners This should be ok,

if you go to china you'll quickly catch on and people will understand you.

greet someone,

你好 Ni=你(the tone goes up like you'd be asking something like let's say somebody says they went of and met with sergey brin, you'd be like you????? questioning his sincerity thats the same tone for Ni, which means you by the way)

好=hao means good.

So again say it NiHao! == "Hello" haha

then you say good bye, ZaiJian 再见 Zai means again and Jian means to see, so it's like see ya later!

or you can just say byebye which is even more common then Zaijian.

He and she is Ta but attention they differ in characters a male Ta is 他 female is 她 ,

then Us means Women see the Wo added with the Men 我们 it's like double strings, $Wo.$Men nah all jokes to the side. But in general Chinese is a lot like PHP or C.

It really is like this first it's Wo for us then Ni for you (plural) and then Ta for They,

then you add the second string to all of them which is Men which is also the Sergey Brin Tone remember Men???? yeah that's right. 们

Now some more interesting stuff to conclude the this first lesson.

Microsoft is called 微软 in Chinese WeiRuan the first 微 wei translates into Micro and the latter ruan 软 means software.

Apple is called 苹果 Ping Guo which literally means Apple.

so you can type something on your 苹果imac or eat a 苹果 while sitting in front of your Imacs.

Internet is called 互联网 Hu Lian Wang。

this sorta is a literal translation too, it just means everyone is interacting net.

Google.com is called 百度 Baidu.com

and people don't use PHP here, they us asp.NET.....

talking about third world country where most websites run on microsoft software servers.....

Computer == "计算机" JiSuanJi literal translation: "Calculating Machine" or "Calculator"

Personal Computer =="DianNao" ,"电脑“ which sorta means static Brain.

Laptop == “笔记本” Bi Ji Ben this means Notebook.

Software == "软件“ RuanJian literal meaning

Virus == "病毒" Bing Du literal meaning

Sergey Brin == "Robin Lee" ( Baidu Founder)

Carly Fiorina == "Mary Ma" (Head of Lenovo and now also IBM's computer business)

Jerry Yang == "Jack Ma" (Founder of Alibaba)

Pierre Omidyar == "Shao Yi Bo" xor "Jack Ma" ( former founded eachnet, latter is also founder of Taobao.com)
